TYPO3 websites

Lots of content.
Clear responsibilities.
One consistent website.

When several teams manage content, your website should still feel coherent. We structure TYPO3 so editing, languages and approvals fit your daily work.

Organize complexity.
Make editing easier.

Multiple content areas and teams should still look like one coherent website to visitors. We organize languages, pages and approvals so each editorial team sees the right tasks and changes remain traceable.

TYPO3 services

What we plan
and build.

01 / COMPONENT

Pages, languages & markets

We clarify page trees, domains, language versions and shared content. Translation and local differences are separate tasks. We therefore plan what happens when a translation is missing or an offer exists in only one market.

02 / COMPONENT

Roles & approvals

User groups, editing permissions and approval stages follow your organization. A department can prepare its own content while central design elements stay protected. Workspaces and review processes are configured where needed.

03 / COMPONENT

Content elements & extensions

We develop a manageable set of reusable elements and assess existing extensions. Special data structures and integrations are planned so editing, technical maintenance and development fit together.

What it can look like in practice

One piece of content. Several owners.

Example: a business with a central website and several language versions:

  1. 01

    Central editorial team

The foundation of a service page is created. Shared facts and design components are defined.

  2. 02

    Local editorial team

The responsible team adds the translation and checks market-specific details such as contacts or service scope.

  3. 03

    Review & publication

The agreed owners check the preview. Only approved content is published.

A shared framework with clear tasks, rather than independently maintained copies of each website.

Clear outcomes

What should
be in place at the end.

The specific scope is agreed together. These deliverables give the project a clear structure.

How we work
Structure plan
Page trees, domains, languages and shared or separate content are described.
Editorial plan
Roles, permissions, responsibilities and required approvals are agreed around specific tasks.
Technical foundation
Templates, content elements, extensions and integrations are planned alongside development and test environments.
Operation & handover
Training, documentation, backups and a clear update and upgrade path belong in the plan.
PLATFORM SELECTION

When does TYPO3 fit?

TYPO3 is particularly useful when a larger content organization needs long-term management. Setup, development and upgrade effort are part of the decision. A simpler structure may be enough for a small website with few editorial tasks.

EXISTING WEBSITE

Take over, improve
or rebuild?

For an existing TYPO3 installation, we record the version, installation method, extensions, templates and custom changes. We then assess dependencies and a possible upgrade path. A version change can require changes to extensions and content too; test environments, data migration and fallback options are therefore planned in advance.

Your questions

TYPO3
in detail.

Can each department edit only its own area?

TYPO3 offers detailed user and group permissions. The pages, content and functions that are visible or editable are configured specifically. We follow the actual tasks and check the result using the intended roles.

Can several websites share one installation?

TYPO3 supports multiple websites and language configurations. Whether one installation makes sense also depends on responsibilities, shared extensions and the intended operation. A technically possible consolidation is not automatically the best organizational solution.

Do you take on older TYPO3 websites?

Following a technical assessment. Update status, available extensions, custom development and content quality are decisive. They determine whether an upgrade, gradual rebuild or relaunch makes sense.

Are existing URLs and language versions considered?

Yes, they belong in the migration plan. We record relevant addresses, map old and new content and plan redirects and language relationships. Important landing pages are specifically checked after the switch.
