WordPress websites / with or without Divi

Your content.
Your website.
A considered system.

Your services should be as clear online as in a personal conversation. With WordPress, we design a website that guides prospective customers and is straightforward for your team to maintain.

Divi is one possible design solution within WordPress.

01 / The foundation

Understand first
what your website
needs to achieve.

Visitors first ask: is this offer right for me, and what can I do next? We build content and navigation around these questions. The technical structure should also make ongoing editing easier for your team.

These tasks shape the site plan. Services, contacts, knowledge and current information each receive a clear place. We review existing content: what works, what is missing and what can be brought together?

WordPress provides pages, posts, media and user roles. Recurring information can have its own structure, so contact details or service features do not need to be maintained independently on many pages. Useful fields and content types depend on your actual offer.

This preparation supports growth too. An additional service or topic should fit the website without reinventing the entire navigation and design every time.

02 / Design within WordPress

With Divi,
individual pages become
one consistent website.

WordPress manages content. Divi adds visual layout and design.

If Divi suits your requirements, we use it to develop a consistent design system. Colors, fonts, spacing and recurring elements are coordinated. We test the design with real text, including long headings, different image formats and small screens.

Divi Theme Builder provides shared headers, footers and templates for recurring page types. Navigation entries are managed in WordPress menus. A new page receives the same framework rather than another copy of the header and footer.

We also plan reusable content components, such as services, FAQs and contact sections. Shared elements and freely editable content remain clearly distinguishable. That makes changes easier and prevents inconsistent individual styles from accumulating.

01 / GLOBAL

A shared framework

Headers, footers and navigation are maintained centrally. A change reaches the assigned pages through the shared template.

02 / RECURRING

Suitable page patterns

Service pages, overviews and contact areas have a consistent structure. New content uses these agreed patterns.

03 / RESPONSIVE

Readable at every size

Font sizes, line lengths and spacing are planned for different widths. Menus, buttons and anchor links are included in the checks.

03 / Everyday content work

You manage the content.
The structure
provides guidance.

At handover, we work with your typical tasks. A technical introduction becomes a clear working process.

For example: your business offers a new service. How does it reach the website?

  1. Start with a suitable template

Editors add benefits, scope, images and contacts within the intended structure. The areas that may be changed are clearly agreed.

  2. Check the context

The preview shows the page within the shared design. Headings, image crops, contact routes and the smartphone view are checked.

  3. Publish and make it discoverable

The page is linked from the appropriate overview and, where needed, the WordPress menu. Search titles and descriptions are added, and important links are tried out.

User roles follow the team's tasks. Not everyone needs access to extensions or global templates. Editorial freedom and a consistent website are planned together.

04 / Functions with a clear purpose

The website should work
behind the scenes too.

Forms, multiple languages, bookings or a store extend a website's scope. We assess suitable solutions and dependencies: what data is processed? Who receives an inquiry? What licenses and ongoing tasks arise?

Each extension has a specific purpose. Custom functions and integrations are planned so access, error scenarios and responsibilities remain clear. A WooCommerce store needs separate planning for products, payments, delivery and ordering processes.

WooCommerce for WordPress

We consider technical quality from content through to operation: suitable image sizes, appropriate font files, a manageable selection of extensions and a suitable hosting environment. Loading improvements are assessed against actual bottlenecks.

Before publication, we check navigation, contact functions, mobile views, headings and internal links. New pages receive the intended layout. Unwanted right-hand sidebars and inconsistent spacing are specifically checked.

Integrations and custom functions
05 / Existing website & ongoing operation

Keep what works.
Resolve specific problems.

Not every WordPress or Divi website needs a complete fresh start.

We record the theme, builder version, extensions, custom changes, content and hosting. Design faults, outdated technology and editorial problems are assessed separately. This produces a prioritized action plan.

For a relaunch, we consider important existing addresses. Content is mapped, redirects are prepared and changes are checked in a suitable test environment first. Backups, publication timing and a possible rollback are agreed before switching.

After launch, updates, backups, functional checks and content editing need named owners. We agree which tasks your team handles and what ongoing support covers.

Maintenance & development
Before the first conversation

WordPress & Divi
in detail.

Can we change text and images ourselves?

Yes. Editing is planned and explained using your content. We distinguish freely editable areas from shared design elements. Your editors' tasks are specifically agreed at handover.

Do you take on existing Divi websites?

Following an assessment. We check structure, versions, licenses, custom changes and known errors. We can then judge whether a targeted correction, template rebuild or full relaunch makes sense.

Does a WordPress website have to use Divi?

No. Divi is one possible design solution for WordPress. A block theme or custom components may also be suitable. The decision considers requirements, existing content and future editing.

What belongs in the search engine foundation?

A useful site structure, clear headings, internal links, indexable content, individual titles and descriptions, and necessary redirects. Ongoing content work and campaigns are agreed separately.

When is another CMS worthwhile?

For many country websites, complex approvals or closely connected portal content, we also compare effort and operation with TYPO3 or Drupal. Page count alone does not determine the right system.

What determines the project effort?

Different page types, the condition of existing content, custom functions, integrations and data migration. Initial clarification lets us define scope, open questions and useful development stages.
